3.  Conservative  Political Meetings: tea parties, conservative breakfast meetings, gun shows, etc.

4.  Supermarkets, especially Safeway, which has granted statewide permission, but also Wal-Mart and other large supermarkets that might agree on an individual basis

5.  The public library

6.  The post office

7.  College Campuses

8.  Sporting Events

9.  Holiday Events: parades, fairs, rallies, open concerts

JOYCE MEYERS EVENT = TONS OF SIGNATURES = HAPPY BABIES

Joyce Meyers is coming to the Pepsi center in Denver this week, and Personhood Colorado will be there to harvest signatures.

At the Women of Faith conferene a couple of weeks ago, we were able to collect thousands of signatures in just a few hours, and this event will be the same.  Tens of thousands of Christian, pro-life, people will be at reachable for a few hours, and it is up to us to reach out to them.

We now know exactly where we can stand to collect signatures and be on public property, all we need is for you to make the effort to come out and help us harvest signatures.  Will you commit to that?

Here are the dates and times of the Joyce Meyers conference, I suggest coming one and a half hours early so that we can get people who have time to spare.  The closer we get to the start time for events, the harder it is to collect signatures from people who are in a hurry.

Snowflake Mom and Daughter to Speak on Friday and Saturday, Oct 9-10

Dear Friends of Personhood:

Maria Macalister and her daughter Alisha have come all the way from Seattle Washington to Colorado to act as witnesses for Personhood.

You see, Alisha Macalister is what is known as a snowflake baby.  That means that she was adopted as an embryo that was left over from a fertility clinic.  Instead of disposing of Alisha as medical waste, or killing her during scientific experiments, Alisha found Maria and was allowed to grow into the wonderful little six year old that she is today.

Alisha spent four years in deep freeze at the two cell stage.  She was a person while at the two cell stage, she was a person when she was adopted by Maria, and she is a little person now!

Come hear their amazing story in person this week.

TODAY!  FRIDAY, OCTOBER 9TH

Maria and Alisha will be at the Panera Bread meeting room in Colorado Springs on Friday, October 9th, from 4:30 to 7:00 pm

PERSONHOOD EDUCATES MILLIONS OF COLORADANS

Here is a collection of coverage simply from the launch of the 2010 Colorado Personhood Initiative.

As we continue our petition efforts, remember: the victory is ours, because we know the Way, the Truth, and the Light, and we are carrying it to our brothers and sisters as we are called to do.

Join us at the Pepsi Center

This morning's signature harvest was awesome. Join us at the South side of the Pepsi Center at the crosswalk at 3 and again at 6 pm on Friday and at 7:30 am on Saturday. Also, pray that the organizerss of the conference will find the strength to reach out in faith and allow us to be on the premises standing up for the voiceless.

We Need your Help at these Two Important Events to Kick off the Colorado Personhood Amendment

The petition drive has officially started and the countdown to the end of abortion in Colorado has begun.

We have a huge opportunity to get this signature drive started strong at the COLORADO STATE FAIR
The State Fair, which will take place between August 28 to September 7, marks what is likely the biggest opportunity the Colorado Personhood Amendment will have to get signatures this year!

Our petition is approved, printed, and ready to be signed. Now all that is needed is YOU !  We can start really strong if we capitalize on these opportunities.

500 Volunteers Needed

Nearly 500,000 people are expected to visit the fair this year and these people need the opportunity to sign the personhood petition.  More likely than not, the majority of the people visiting the state fair will be in favor of our petition, so if we're looking to reach out to a friendly audience (and we are), this is our chance.

YOU CAN MAKE THAT HAPPEN!

Sign up TODAY!

We need volunteers to stand at the gates, work the Colorado Personhood table inside, and walk the fairgrounds.

Refreshments will be served to all volunteers and gate admission will be provided to Volunteers who commit to helping all day (8 hours or more)

Please call Donna 303-753-9394 or email office@coloradorighttolife.org

We also have 2 and 4 hour shifts available, come for the day and split up a few shifts while enjoying the fair.

We can't do this without you.

CONCERT TO KICK OFF PERSONHOOD IN THE FOUR CORNERS

There will be a big concert sponsored by LifeGuard, a pro-life non-profit that is committed to closing down the only abortion mill in the four corners.  If you are in the vicinity of Durango on Friday, August 28th., the Cajun folk band L'Angelus will put on a great show, and there will also be the opportunity to collect signatures from pro-lifers.  And pick up petitions!

Press Conference: Colorado Personhood Amendment Launches State’s First All-Volunteer Initiative.

Denver, Co August 24/  Tomorrow's press conference will launch the 2010 Personhood Amendment petition drive with a request to re-activate a thousand volunteer petitioners from 2008.

The Colorado Secretary Of State title board has given the unanimous go ahead for the new Personhood effort to begin gathering the 76,047 signatures required to place the amendment on the November 2010 ballot.

The press conference, at a post office, will announce that the campaign will strive to become the first initiative campaign in Colorado to be run completely by volunteers.  The campaign will build upon last year's effort, reactivating by mail the 1,000 circulators that gathered the 131,000 signatures in 2008.

The petition drive will launch by addressing head on the hard cases of rape and incest with comments from our campaign spokesperson, Sherri Williams, herself a victim of rape.

What: Press Conference to activate over 1,000 volunteers

When: Tuesday August 25  10:30-11:00

Where: US Post Office 225 S Broadway Denver Colorado

"We are pleased that once again the Colorado Secretary Of State has seen through objections of Planned Parenthood and has allowed the personhood campaign to move forward" Said initiative co-sponsor Gualberto Garcia Jones J.D.

"As we continue to press forward, we are seeing incremental advances for the personhood rights of the preborn."  Said Leslie Hanks, initiative co-sponsor.
