Dear Friends of Personhood:
Maria Macalister and her daughter Alisha have come all the way from Seattle Washington to Colorado to act as witnesses for Personhood.
You see, Alisha Macalister is what is known as a snowflake baby. That means that she was adopted as an embryo that was left over from a fertility clinic. Instead of disposing of Alisha as medical waste, or killing her during scientific experiments, Alisha found Maria and was allowed to grow into the wonderful little six year old that she is today.
Alisha spent four years in deep freeze at the two cell stage. She was a person while at the two cell stage, she was a person when she was adopted by Maria, and she is a little person now!
Come hear their amazing story in person this week.
